NOVELTY - The preparation method of graphene foam involves mixing furfural ketone resin, sorbitol and fruit extract, heating, agitating, adding curing agent, heating, stirring to obtain furfural ketone, heating furfural ketone, heat-preserving, curing furfural aldehyde mixture, carrying out carbonization in vacuum in inert gas atmosphere, heating cured furfural aldehyde mixture, heat-preserving, increasing the temperature, carrying out high temperature carbonation, adjusting final temperature, stopping graphitization and cooling. USE - Preparation of graphene foam used as heat insulating material, electrode material, shielding material, filter material and synthetic material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene foam ensuring high porosity, enhanced stability, high temperature resistance, improved corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, light weight, high thermal conductivity, high melting point and prolonged service life by simple and economical process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of graphene foam involves (A) mixing 100 pts. wt. furfural ketone resin, 2-4 pts. wt. sorbitol and 5-7 pts. wt. fruit extract, heating at 30-40 degrees C, agitating, adding 3-4 pts. wt. curing agent, heating at 45-55 degrees C, stirring evenly to obtain mixture of furfural ketone, the solid content of the fruit extract is 65-75 wt.%, (B) heating furfural ketone at 60-100 degrees C, heat-preserving for 50-55 minutes, heating at 100-130 degrees C for 1-2 hours, (C) curing furfural aldehyde mixture, carrying out carbonization in vacuum at 0.2-0.5 MPa in inert gas atmosphere, heating cured furfural aldehyde mixture at 65-250 degrees C, heat-preserving for 15-18 minutes, increasing the temperature to 250-450 degrees C for 13-16 minutes, heating at 450-1200 degrees C for 20-25 minutes, increasing the temperature to 1200-1550 degrees C for 16-20 minutes, heating at 1550-2650 degrees C for 20-28 minutes, carrying out high temperature carbonation, adjusting the final temperature to 2650-3200 degrees C for 25-30 minutes, stopping graphitization, (D) after graphitization, cooling to 35-45 degrees C. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for application of graphene foam as heat insulating material, electrode material, shielding material, filter material and synthetic material.
