NOVELTY - A nickel hydroxide/graphite or graphene composite material is obtained by adding expanded graphite with adhesive to obtain a mixture, adding the mixture with ethyl alcohol to obtain expanded graphite suspension. The graphite suspension is coated on an electrode substrate surface. The electrode substrate is placed in electrodepositing solution comprising nickel salt. The substrate is dried and molded through hot compression. The substrate is leached in alkali solution, followed by performing cyclic voltammetry electrochemical activation on the substrate to obtain finished product. USE - Nickel hydroxide/graphite or graphene composite material. ADVANTAGE - The composite material can be prepared in a simple, easy, eco-friendly and cost effective manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A nickel hydroxide/graphite or graphene composite material is obtained by adding expanded graphite with adhesive to ratio of 8-9:2-1 to obtain a mixture, adding the mixture with ethyl alcohol to obtain expanded graphite suspension. The 0.5-4 mg graphite suspension is coated on an electrode substrate surface. The electrode substrate is placed in electrodepositing solution comprising nickel salt. The substrate is dried and molded through hot compression. The substrate is leached in alkali solution, followed by performing cyclic voltammetry electrochemical activation on the substrate to obtain nickel hydroxide/graphite or graphene composite material. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing nickel hydroxide/graphite or graphene composite material.
