NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-containing lubricating oil additive and/or grease additive, comprises e.g. (i) expanding expandable graphite to obtain graphene micro sheet, (ii) dispersing the graphene micro sheet in organic solvent, and grinding organic solvent containing graphene micro sheet to obtain a suspension, (iii) subjecting the suspension to ultrasonic treatment, allowing to stand for separation, taking the upper suspension liquid for centrifugal treatment, then separating supernatant liquid and bottom residue, and (iv) adding polyvinylpyrrolidone into the supernatant liquid, and mixing. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene-containing lubricating oil additive and/or grease additive. ADVANTAGE - The lubricating oil additive and/or grease additive has improved comprehensive performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene-containing lubricating oil additive and/or grease additive, comprises (i) expanding expandable graphite by microwave heating to obtain graphene micro sheet, (ii) dispersing the graphene micro sheet in organic solvent, and grinding the organic solvent containing graphene micro sheet using grinding disperser to obtain a suspension, (iii) subjecting the suspension to ultrasonic treatment, allowing to stand the sonicated suspension for separation, taking the upper suspension liquid for centrifugal treatment, then separating supernatant liquid and bottom residue, and (iv) adding polyvinylpyrrolidone or N-methylpyrrolidone into the supernatant liquid, and mixing uniformly to obtain final product.
