NOVELTY - Preparing graphene based cadmium azide compound comprises applying ultrasonic signal to graphene oxide in distilled water to obtain graphene oxide dispersion, taking soluble cadmium salt and placing soluble cadmium salt in distilled water, stirring, dissolving cadmium salt to obtain cadmium salt solution, stirring graphene oxide dispersion, adding cadmium salt solution in the graphene oxide dispersion, stirring first set time to obtain uniformly dispersed mixed solution of graphene oxide cadmium salt, spray-drying, collecting dried product to obtain precursor material of graphene oxide cadmium salt, calcining the precursor material in set temperature range and atmosphere filled with inert gas for second set time to obtain graphene oxide cadmium oxide compound material, placing the graphene oxide cadmium compound material in gas-solid reaction device, introducing azide gas generated by reaction of sodium azide and stearic acid in reaction device, and performing gas-solid reaction. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene based cadmium azide compound, that is used as explosive (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The compound has higher electrostatic safety performance and detonation ability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene based cadmium azide compound comprises placing graphene oxide in distilled water, applying an ultrasonic signal with a frequency band of 36,000-172,000 Hz to graphene oxide in distilled water until graphene oxide is uniformly dispersed in the distilled water to obtain graphene oxide dispersion, taking soluble cadmium salt and placing soluble cadmium salt in distilled water, stirring, completely dissolving cadmium salt to obtain cadmium salt solution, stirring the graphene oxide dispersion using magnetic stirrer, adding cadmium salt solution in the graphene oxide dispersion, and stirring first set time to obtain uniformly dispersed mixed solution of graphene oxide cadmium salt, spray-drying mixed solution of graphene oxide cadmium salt, collecting the dried product to obtain precursor material of graphene oxide cadmium salt, calcining the precursor material in the set temperature range and an atmosphere filled with an inert gas for second set time to obtain graphene oxide cadmium oxide compound material, placing the graphene oxide cadmium compound material in gas-solid reaction device, introducing azide gas generated by the reaction of sodium azide and stearic acid into gas-solid reaction device, and performing gas-solid reaction for a period of time. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for graphene based cadmium azide compound, prepared by the above-mentioned method.
