NOVELTY - Preparation of nickel bicarbonate-polydopamine-graphene composite material involves dispersing graphene oxide in deionized water, ultrasonically processing graphene oxide suspension for 1 hour, obtaining graphene oxide suspension, adjusting pH to 8.5, heating graphene oxide suspension to 60 degrees C, adding dopamine hydrochloride in mass ratio of 1:1-1.2, surface-polymerizing graphene oxide with dopamine hydrochloride at 50-90 degrees C for 12-24 hours, cooling polymerization product to room temperature, washing, filtering, obtaining polydopamine-graphene composite, dispersing into deionized water, preparing polydopamine-graphene suspension, adding nickel salt to polydopamine-graphene suspension, stirring until nickel salt is dissolved in presence of precipitant, so that mass ratio of precipitating agent with respect to nickel salt is 1:2.5-30, stirring until precipitant is completely dissolved, hydrothermally reacting at 120-220 degrees C for 5-24 hours, centrifuging, washing and vacuum drying. USE - Preparation of nickel bicarbonate-polydopamine-graphene composite material used as electrode material of supercapacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently provides nickel bicarbonate-polydopamine-graphene composite material having excellent electrochemical performance and specific capacitance of 2068 F/g or less. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The graphene oxide suspension has concentration of 0.5-2 mg/mL. The polydopamine-graphene suspension has concentration of 0.5-5 mg/L. The mass ratio of nickel salt with respect to graphene oxide is 5-30:1, during addition of nickel salt to polydopamine-graphene suspension.
