NOVELTY - Method for preparing a composite aerogel involves (i) mixing 0.1 g carboxylated carbon nanotubes, 0.1 g graphene oxide and 1 g hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide, adding 100 ml deionized water, and ultrasonically mixing the mixture to obtain a mixed solution, (ii) adding 0.6 g thiophene, 50 ml n-octane and 0.4 g nickel nitrate to the mixed solution, and hydrothermally reacting at 160-180 degrees C for 4-6 hours to obtain a hydrogel, (iii) adding the hydrogel to 2 mol/l potassium nitrate solution, hydrothermally reacting at 120-140 degrees C for 2-3 hours, cooling to room temperature, filtering, washing and freeze-drying, and (iv) performing thermal cracking on the obtained mixture under an argon atmosphere to prepare the product. USE - The method is useful for preparing composite aerogel for preparing supercapacitor electrode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite aerogel has high electrochemical performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a use of the composite aerogel in a supercapacitor electrode material, involving stirring composite aerogel, acetylene black and polytetrafluoroethylene emulsion, and uniformly mixed at a mass ratio of 90:5:5, blowing sample into a paste material using electric blowing, using foamed nickel as a current collector, coating paste material on foamed nickel, vacuum-drying at 120 degrees C for 24 hours, and preparing electrode.
