USE - Preparation method of silver-reduced graphene oxide-cadmium sulfide ternary nanocomposite for photocatalyzing carbon dioxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of silver-reduced graphene oxide-cadmium sulfide ternary nanocomposite with mild reaction condition, excellent photocatalytic activity, product selectivity, reduced atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration, and efficient development and utilization of solar energy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of silver-reduced graphene oxide-cadmium sulfide ternary nanocomposite involves (1) taking cadmium dichloride as cadmium source, thiourea, thioacetamide, L-type cysteine, and/or dimethyl sulfoxide as sulfur source, and ethylenediamine as solvent, solvent-heating at 120-180 degrees C, and reacting for 24-96 hours to obtain sample, centrifuging, washing, drying and dispersing in ethylene glycol, (2) taking the dispersed graphene oxide solution using chemical thermal reduction method, adding homogeneous solution of cadmium sulfide-ethylene glycol, refluxing at 140 degrees C for 1-4 hours, cooling, washing, centrifuging and drying to obtain reduced graphene oxide-cadmium sulfide compound, and (3) adding the obtained reduced graphene oxide-cadmium sulfide compound to a reactor containing mixed liquid of water-triethanolamine through light reduction method, uniformly stirring, adding silver nitrate solution, irradiating by xenon lamp light, centrifugally washing the obtained sample, placing in oven, and drying.
