NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene oxide dispersion comprises mixing sulfuric acid and nitric acid in graphite powder under ice water bath, adding potassium chlorate powder under nitrogen protection, pouring mixture in deionized water to terminate reaction, washing reaction product with deionized water and hydrochloric acid solution to remove excess sulfate ions, centrifuging reaction product at different rates to obtain oxidized graphite, dispersing graphite oxide in polar solvent and performing ultrasonic treatment. USE - The method is used for preparation of graphene oxide dispersion for preparing graphene oxide fiber for reduced graphene oxide fiber (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide fiber and reduced graphene oxide fiber have high mechanical properties. The conductivity of reduced graphene oxide fiber is one order of magnitude higher than ordinary chemically reduced graphene fiber.
