NOVELTY - Carbon-based rubber composite comprises 11-95 wt.% bromo isobutylene isoprene rubber and 0.1-10 wt.% graphene nanoplates. USE - Used as carbon-based rubber composite. ADVANTAGE - The carbon-based rubber composite has high-conductivity and high insulation properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for producing carbon-based rubber composite, comprising (a) forming a dispersion solution in which graphene nanoplates and bromo isobutylene isoprene rubber are mixed, (b) drying the dispersion to form dried rubber, and (c) extruding the dried rubber through a high-temperature extrusion process.
