NOVELTY - The preparation of PTFE fiber cloth composite graphene-silicon dioxide aerogel, involves dispersing graphene oxide in deionized water to obtain stable graphene oxide solution, adding with silicon source, methanol and deionized water, adding reducing agent into mixed solution, reacting, reducing graphene oxide to obtain mixture, adding acid catalyst to obtained mixture, adding with alkali catalyst to obtain graphene-silicon dioxide mixed sol, pouring into mold, laminating PTFE fiber cloth to gel, adding organic solvent for solution replacement, and drying. USE - Preparation of PTFE fiber cloth composite graphene-silicon dioxide aerogel used in adsorption filtration application. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of PTFE fiber cloth composite graphene-silicon dioxide aerogel with large specific surface area, super-hydrophobic property and excellent mechanical property by simple process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation of PTFE fiber cloth composite graphene-silicon dioxide aerogel, involves dispersing graphene oxide in deionized water by ultrasonically centrifuging to obtain stable graphene oxide solution, adding with silicon source, methanol and deionized water, placing in a magnetic stirrer constant temperature water bath, adding reducing agent into mixed solution, reacting under constant temperature water bath, reducing graphene oxide to obtain mixture, adding acid catalyst to obtained mixture, adjusting pH value to 4.0-5.0, stirring to fully hydrolyze the solution, adding with alkali catalyst, adjusting the solution pH value to 7.5-8.0, stirring to obtain graphene-silicon dioxide mixed sol, pouring graphene-silicon dioxide mixed sol into mold and laminating PTFE fiber cloth to gel under heating in an oven, adding organic solvent for solution replacement, taking out replaced solution, and drying in atmospheric pressure.
