NOVELTY - A paper ball-like graphene microsphere-containing complex calcium-based grease comprises 70-90 parts mass base oil, 5-30 parts mass complex calcium-based thickener, 0.05-5 parts mass paper ball-shaped graphene microspheres and 1-5 parts mass additives. The paper ball-shaped graphene microspheres are made of single-layer graphene sheets, and have diameter of 500 nm-5 mu m, density of 0.2-0.4 g/cm3, carbon to oxygen ratio of 20-60, and specific surface area of less than 200 m2/g. USE - Paper ball-like graphene microsphere-containing complex calcium-based grease (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The paper ball-like graphene microspheres have excellent mechanical properties and flexibility, high stability, and effectively absorbs the impact, reduces the graphene stack, and effectively reduces the friction on the work surface and fills up the worn components to prevent further enlargement. The paper ball-like graphene microsphere-containing complex calcium-based grease has excellent high temperature resistance, extreme pressure abrasion resistance, water resistance, corrosion resistance and long life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for preparing paper ball-like graphene microsphere-containing complex calcium-based grease, which involves (a) mixing paper ball-shaped graphene microspheres, portion of base oil, additive and 12-24C fatty acids, warming at 80-110 degrees C, adding calcium hydroxide, performing saponification reaction, then heating at 110-130 degrees C, adding 1-12C fatty acid calcium, (ii) mixing the mixture obtained in step (i) with remaining base oil, heating at 160-170 degrees C, dehydrating, then heating at 200-240 degrees C, refining, cooling and grinding to obtain paper ball-like graphene microspheres containing complex calcium-based grease.
