NOVELTY - Ammonia gas detection sensor (5) comprises a board, a graphene sheet (7) positioned on the substrate (6) and metal nanoparticles (8) located on the graphene sheet. USE - The sensor is useful in gas detection device (claimed) to monitor and detect flammable, explosive and toxic gas. ADVANTAGE - The ammonia gas detection sensor can be used at room temperature, is economical and relatively easy to manufacture, has fast reaction and recovery time, excellent selectivity of ammonia gas for wide range of gas species, and can provide technology and device capable of reproducibility and real-time detection. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for ammonia gas detection device comprising electrodes connected to both ends of the graphene sheet, a power supply for driving the ammonia gas detection sensor, and a control unit having a calibration button.
