NOVELTY - Preparation of transition-metal-quantum-dot-loaded graphene ball composite, involves subjecting a transition metal acetate, an acetate as carbon source, and a transition metal ion as catalyst to self-catalytic pyrolysis. USE - Preparation of transition-metal-quantum-dot-loaded graphene ball composite (claimed) useful as catalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, quick and economical, enables easy control of quantum dot dispersibility, and provides composite having excellent quantum dot dispersibility, uniform size, large specific surface area, and high conductivity, with high repeatability on a large scale.
