NOVELTY - Preparation of cobalt oxide/graphene composite nano material involves preparing cobalt nitrate-organic fuel mixed solution, preparing graphene oxide dispersion solution, forming dispersion solution for atomization by mixing mixed solution and graphene oxide dispersion solution by ultrasonic mixing, filling dispersion solution into an ultrasonic atomization device, carrying the generated atomized liquid drops into a tubular furnace, initiating solution combustion reaction, and collecting solid reaction product. USE - Preparation of cobalt oxide/graphene composite nano material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The cobalt oxide/graphene composite nano material is prepared by simple method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of cobalt oxide/graphene composite nano material involves preparing 0.01-1.00 mol/L cobalt nitrate-organic fuel mixed solution, preparing 0.1-1 mg/ml graphene oxide dispersion solution, calculating the volumes of the cobalt nitrate-organic fuel mixed solution and graphene oxide dispersion solution according to the mass ratio of cobalt oxide to graphene in the designed product and the required preparation amounts, forming dispersion solution for atomization by mixing mixed solution and graphene oxide dispersion solution by ultrasonic mixing, filling dispersion solution into an ultrasonic atomization device, carrying the generated atomized liquid drops into a tubular furnace maintained at 500-1100 degrees C by argon or nitrogen gas at flow rate of 0.3-1.2 L/minute, initiating solution combustion reaction, and collecting the solid reaction product. The molar ratio of organic fuel and metal ions is 0.9-2. The cobalt nitrate solution is directly dissolved cobalt nitrate hexahydrate or cobalt nitrate dissolved in metal, or cobalt oxide, cobalt hydroxide or cobalt carbonate. The organic fuel is glycine, ethylene glycol or urea. The tubular furnace is formed using quartz tube having inner diameter of 16 mm and outer diameter of 20 mm. The ultrasonic atomization device is piezoelectric ceramic sheet having frequency of 1.7 MHz or 2.4 MHz.
