NOVELTY - The device has a board, a lower electrode, a nanostructured layer, multilayer graphene layers, and an upper electrode. The optoelectronic device has a plasmon bond formed vertically between the nanostructure layer and the upper electrode. The multilayer graphene layer serves to induce plasmon bonding between the nanostructure layer and the upper electrode at the same time plays a role of carrier generation by light. USE - Multilayer graphene-based optoelectronic device. ADVANTAGE - The device overcomes the trade-off of response time and maximizes each performance independently.
