NOVELTY - A composite positive electrode material comprises inner core and graphene coating layer on the surface of the inner core. The inner core has a sandwich structure. The inner core comprises graphite framework layers and/or lithium iron phosphate sandwiched between the at least two graphite framework layers. The surface of the lithium iron phosphate is covered with graphene. USE - Composite positive electrode material for lithium-ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite positive electrode material improves the isotropy between the graphene and lithium iron phosphate, improves the electron conductivity of the material, and improves the multiplying power performance and cycle stability of the lithium battery under the low temperature environment. The lithium-ion in the electrolyte can be conducted from each direction of the inner core surface into the inner cores of the graphite framework layer, thereby improving multiplying power characteristic and the circulating stability of material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the composite cathode material, which involves mixing iron phthalocyanine, expanded graphite, surfactant and water to obtain a precursor solution, drying and shaping the precursor solution with colloidal solution containing lithium salt and ferric hydroxide to obtain a positive electrode material precursor, adding to graphene dispersion solution containing phosphate ions for reaction, and sintering.
