▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - An impure sample of carbon nanotubes is purified by annealing them in air or another oxygen-containing gas which, apart form oxygen, is inert to carbon nanotubes under the conditions used; and heating them in a medium which oxidizes graphene only at at least 330 degreesC at atmospheric pressure or an equivalent medium using a form of non-contact electromagnetic heating. USE - The invention is used for purifying impure sample of carbon nanotubes, e.g. single walled nanotubes (claimed) used for electronic nanodevices. ADVANTAGE - The invention provides nanotubes that are very well dispersed, and free of amorphous impurities.
