NOVELTY - Method for preparing graphene-modified prismatic carbon nitride, involves (a) hydrothermally treating melamine to obtain a supramolecular precursor, (b) mixing the supramolecular precursor with a graphite oxide solution uniformly dispersed by ultrasound, and shaken evenly on a shaker, (c) filtering the precipitate obtained in the step (b) and washing, and freeze-drying the obtained solid, and (d) calcining the solid obtained in the step (c) at 550 plus minus 10 degrees C for 4-6 hours to prepare graphene-modified prismatic carbon nitride. USE - The method is used for preparing graphene-modified prismatic carbon nitride which is used as a catalyst in photocatalytic hydrogen production (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method increases the specific surface area, exposes more active sites, improves the absorption and utilization of visible light, benefits the separation and migration of photo-generated carriers, and improves the catalytic activity of visible light hydrogen production.
