NOVELTY - The device has a glass substrate formed with a groove. A waveguide is set at a side polishing optical fiber. An edge of the side polishing optical fiber is matched with the groove. The side polishing fiber comprises a cladding and a core. A polishing area surface is coated with a graphene film. Interdigital metal electrodes are arranged parallel to each other and crossly covered on a surface of the graphene film. Two ends of each metal electrode are connected with a driving voltage unit for regulating voltage for the graphene film and transmission light intensity for the side polishing fiber. The metal electrode is made of gold, copper, aluminum, platinum or palladium. The Graphene film is a single- layer Graphene film or a multi-layer Graphene thin film. USE - Graphene-based full optical fiber polarization control functional device. ADVANTAGE - The device is simple in structure, and has high integration level, multiple functions, wide range of applications, less volume, low insertion loss rate, wide working wavelength range, high extinction ratio and quick response speed.
