NOVELTY - Method for improving dispersion degree of graphene powder and preparation of modified asphalt, involves adding dimethyl sulfoxide to a beaker, slowly adding graphene powder, stirring, soaking, filtering, soaking the graphene paste in distilled water, stirring, leaving still, pouring the supernatant, filtering the lower graphene turbid liquid, drying the graphene paste, cooling, grinding to obtain dispersed graphene powder, heating 70# matrix asphalt, pouring into beaker, placing in heating furnace, stirring, adding the graphene powder, stirring, shearing to obtain graphene modified asphalt, analyzing the dispersion degree of graphene powder in asphalt using scanning electron microscope, fluorescence microscope, and scanning apparatus, and adjusting the graphene powder doping amount to determine dispersibility at the best doping amount to improve the graphene modifying effect of asphalt. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for improving dispersion degree of graphene powder and preparation of modified asphalt, involves adding 40 ml 99.5% dimethyl sulfoxide to a beaker, slowly adding graphene powder, stirring using a glass rod to obtain a graphene powder dispersion, soaking at room temperature 2 hours, filtering using a circulating water type vacuum pump, soaking the graphene paste in distilled water, stirring, leaving still for 1 hour, pouring the supernatant, filtering the lower graphene turbid liquid using a vacuum pump, drying the graphene paste in an oven at 170degrees Celsius for 4 hours, naturally cooling to room temperature, grinding the dried block graphene to obtain dispersed graphene powder, heating 70# matrix asphalt in an oven at 163degrees Celsius for 1 hour, pouring 500 g asphalt into beaker, placing in heating furnace at 163degrees Celsius, stirring using glass rod for 10 minutes, adding the graphene powder, stirring using glass rod until the graphene powder is completely immersed in asphalt, shearing at 5000 rpm for 40 minutes to obtain graphene modified asphalt, analyzing the dispersion degree of graphene powder in asphalt using scanning electron microscope, fluorescence microscope, and scanning apparatus, and adjusting the graphene powder doping amount to determine dispersibility at the best doping amount to improve the graphene modifying effect of asphalt.
