NOVELTY - An inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles-doped positive osmosis membrane has a base film layer, an inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles (A-g-B') doped to base film layer and optionally a substrate for supporting the base film layer. The inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles (A-g-B') comprises inorganic nanoparticles (A) containing silica, graphene, poly(1,3-propylene glycol-hexanedioic acid)-functionalized carboxylate-containing multi-walled carbon nanotubes, alumina, zinc oxide, layered silicate and/or graphene oxide. USE - Inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles-doped positive osmosis membrane is used for composite membrane for article used for positive infiltration of water which does not contain microorganisms and water containing microorganisms (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles-doped positive osmosis membrane has high hydrophilicity, permeation flux and rejection rate, and excellent antibacterial characteristics, strength and stability and reduced concentration polarization. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles-doped positive osmosis membrane has a base film layer, an inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles (A-g-B') doped to base film layer and optionally a substrate for supporting the base film layer. The inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles (A-g-B') comprises inorganic nanoparticles (A) containing silica, graphene, poly(1,3-propylene glycol-hexanedioic acid)-functionalized carboxylate-containing multi-walled carbon nanotubes, poly(1,3-propylene glycol-hexanedioic acid)-functionalized hydroxyl-containing multi-walled carbon nanotubes, alumina, zinc oxide, layered silicate and/or graphene oxide, organic polymer (B') comprising ester and/or amine hydrochloride and g indicates that the inorganic nanoparticles (A) is grafted through organic polymer (B'). INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of positive osmosis membrane, which involves providing casting liquid comprising a film former, inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles and organic solvents, coating casting liquid to substrate and curing substrate; (2) composite membrane, which has inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles-doped positive osmosis membrane and an active layer compounded on major surface(s) of inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles-doped positive osmosis membrane; (3) usage of inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles-doped positive osmosis membrane or composite membrane for positive infiltration of water which does not contain microorganisms or water containing microorganisms; (4) article, which has inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles-doped positive osmosis membrane or composite membrane; and (5) permeation treatment, which involves permeating to-be-permeated mixed liquid to inorganic/organic hybrid nanoparticles-doped positive osmosis membrane, composite membrane or article.
