NOVELTY - Preparation of strip-shaped graphene-reinforced poly(methyl methacrylate) involves heat-treating carbon fiber in vacuum or inert gas atmosphere, stretching to obtain stretched carbon fiber, dissolving poly(methyl methacrylate) in xylene solvent to obtain dispersion, cutting stretched carbon fiber, adding dispersion, stirring to obtain a mixture, feeding mixture into multi-rolling mill to obtain ribbon-shaped graphene-reinforced poly(methyl methacrylate) composite slurry, adding ethanol, centrifuging, washing with water and drying. USE - Preparation of strip-shaped graphene-reinforced poly(methyl methacrylate). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple preparation of strip-shaped graphene-reinforced poly(methyl methacrylate) with improved mechanical properties.
