NOVELTY - The helmet has open-cell polyurethane sponge that is immersed in mixed suspension and applying pressure to discharge gas in the open-cell polyurethane sponge and continuing ultrasonic vibration. A hanging polyurethane sponge is dried at room temperature to obtain a sponge and placed in a heating furnace. A pressure state is maintained so the sponge complex pores are filled with aluminum alloy melt, and cooled to 80 to 100 degree Celsius. The final cooling is performed at room temperature to obtain a sponge structure reinforced by mixing silicon carbide, graphene and aluminum. USE - Graphene bulletproof helmet for military personnel. ADVANTAGE - The polyurethane sponge is used as a carrier to disperse the sponge structure of graphene and silicon carbide to form a non-solid pore type skeleton. The aluminum alloy melt is filled into the pores, and the polyurethane sponge is thermally decomposed to generate gas during the high-temperature filling process. The silica-coated aluminum powder is melted to improve the bonding strength with the aluminum alloy melt and has certain porosity in the finally formed sponge structure. The quality of products is reduced, graphene provides sufficient space for elastic deformation, and the ballistic performance of the product is significantly improved.
