ADVANTAGE - The method enables formation of magnesium-based powder material having electrochemical properties, and Coulombic efficiency, and provides battery having excellent charging/discharging cycle characteristics. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a composite electrode, which comprises an activated material comprising magnesium-based powder material, a carbon additive, a binder, and optionally an additive.
