NOVELTY - Preparing graphene by electrochemical cathode stripping graphite foil with tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide as electrolyte comprises e.g. mixing N-methyl pyrrolidone, anhydrous ethanol and tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide, taking graphite electrode is used as cathode and anode, connecting two electrodes with a direct current stabilized power supply, stripping, washing with detergent to obtain substance A, ultrasonically dispersing the washed substance A, freeze-drying to obtain final product. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene by electrochemical cathode stripping graphite foil with tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide as electrolyte. ADVANTAGE - The method: utilizes easily available raw materials; easy operation, low cost, simple process, less steps, and short production period; and is suitable for industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene by electrochemical cathode stripping graphite foil with tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide as electrolyte comprises (i) taking graphite electrode, N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP), anhydrous ethanol, tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide (TTAB), direct current power supply, iron stands and conductive clips, (ii) mixing NMP, anhydrous ethanol and TTAB into 0.1 mol/l TTAB electric stripping solution, (iii) taking graphite electrode is used as cathode and anode, immersing the two electrodes vertically and in parallel into the electro peeling solution, carrying out separation distance between the two electrodes, and connecting two electrodes with a direct current stabilized power supply, (iv) setting the power supply voltage to 20 V electrochemical stripping for 240 minutes, (vi) stripping the stripped graphene precursor obtained in step (iv), and washing with detergent to obtain substance A, (vi) ultrasonically dispersing the washed substance A to obtain aqueous graphene solution, and (vii) freeze-drying aqueous graphene solution obtained in step (vi) to obtain final product.
