USE - Nano-crosslinked viscoelastic gel used in oil field (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The gel has excellent viscoelastic properties and strength, and improved water absorption rate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A nano-crosslinked viscoelastic gel comprises a polymer having vinyl based structural unit of formula (I), and a nanomaterial, which are physically crosslinked. R = hydroxy, amino, alkoxy or substituted alkoxy. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of nano-crosslinked viscoelastic gel, which involves polymerizing materials containing polymerized monomers and nanomaterials at pH of 3-10.
