NOVELTY - Catalyst comprises 55.8-70.2 wt.% graphene oxide/iron oxide/gamma-aluminum oxide/montmorillonite as carrier, where the carrier is loaded with active components including 20-30 wt.% copper, 8-12 wt.% nickel, 1-1.5 wt.% zinc and 0.2-1 wt.% magnesium. The graphene oxide/iron oxide/gamma-aluminum oxide/montmorillonite carrier is prepared by using graphene oxide and pseudo-boehmite as precursor materials. USE - The catalyst is useful for continuous synthesis of morpholine by diethylene glycol gas phase method. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, has few procedures, and is highly popularized. The carrier in the catalyst has many adsorption sites for active sites, large adsorption capacity, high connection strength between the active component and the carrier, high stability, and can avoid the phenomenon of gamma-aluminum oxide agglomeration.
