▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Siloxane-imide copolymer (I) is new. USE - Siloxane-imide copolymer used in addition curable silicone-imide composition for cured silicone-imide material incorporated in an aerospace, electronic, automobile, insulation, coating, or solvent resistant membrane application (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The siloxane-imide copolymer shows good heat stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Siloxane-imide copolymer of formula (I) is new. R1=5-20C aryl, a polycyclic aryl group comprising two or more 5-20C aryl groups, unsubstituted or substituted with a 1-6C alkyl, a halogen, a haloalkyl, a hydroxy, and/or 1-5C alkoxy groups; A=divalent 5-20C aryl; R2 and R3=same or different and are independently selected from a 1-10C alkyl and 6-20C aryl; m=1-200; and n=1-30. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: i. an addition curable silicone-imide composition, which comprises an alkenyl functional siloxane-imide copolymer of formula (I) (A component), 0-80 pts. wt. alkenyl functional organosiloxane (B component), an amount of a polyorganohydrogensiloxane (C component) having at least two hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon atoms in one molecule such that an amount of the hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon atoms is 0.9-10 mole relative to 1 mole of a total amount of the alkenyl groups contained in the (A) component, a catalytic amount of a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst (D component), 0.05-3000 pts. wt. additives (E component), and 0-3000 pts. wt. filler (F component); ii. a cured silicone-imide material; and iii. an article, which comprises a substrate, where the silicone-imide composition is coated or adhered on a surface of the substrate.
