NOVELTY - Preparing GO (graphene oxide)-induced MXene hydrogel involves etching the MAX precursor with a fluorine-containing etchant to obtain MXene. The MXene is made into a suspension, the aqueous dispersion of graphene oxide with a single-layer or multi-layer structure, L-ascorbic acid and the suspension of MXene are mixed and reacted, and freeze-dried to obtain a product. USE - Method for preparing GO (graphene oxide)-induced MXene hydrogel used in the photocatalytic degradation of dyes or antibiotics (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method produces product which has high carrier migration efficiency and visible light utilization rate, good practical value and popularization and application prospect in the field of photo-catalytic degradation dye and antibiotic. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: 1. a GO-induced MXene hydrogel; and 2. a method for using a GO-induced MXene hydrogel.
