NOVELTY - An adsorbent comprises nanomaterial of carbon based material derived from graphite or graphene crystals or with nanotubes having large specific surface. USE - Adsorbent increasing container capacity for storing and transporting methane at low pressure. ADVANTAGE - The adsorbent provides 500-fold volumetric adsorption ability and allows to effectively stock and store methane at low pressures and low temperatures. The adsorbent increases the manifold capacity of containers for storing natural gas and transporting by different transportation methods.
