NOVELTY - Preparing magnetic ferric oxide-graphene nano-composite material comprises dispersing graphene oxide in deionized water, adding the mixed solution of ferric chloride and sodium citrate, mixing uniformly, adjusting pH to 9-11, transferring to hydrothermal reactor, performing hydrothermal reaction, and preparing gamma -ferric oxide@R-graphene oxide nano-composites. USE - The material is useful for removing water dye pollution and absorbing pollutants in printing and dyeing wastewater using external magnetic field for recovery. ADVANTAGE - The material combines the inherent characteristics of graphene and magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles, makes the composite material have larger specific surface area, and has better adsorption performance and necessity and feasibility of recycling.
