▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Preparing catalyst comprises (1) dispersing the layered substrate in water, adding closed boron group (M2(B)x(H)x), heating and stirring to react to completely, obtaining the crude product, washing, filtering, drying to obtain the layered substrate-boron cluster and (2) dispersing the layered substrate-boron cluster in the water, adding the noble metal acid or its salt, reacting under ultraviolet light, filtering, washing and drying the product to obtain the layered substrate-boron cluster nano noble metal catalyst. USE - The catalyst is useful for catalyzing methane to generate methanol and ethanol (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple, easy to operate, and has very mild reaction conditions. The catalyst has a repetitive utilization rate of up to greater than or equal to 10 times, high activity, a reproducible carrier, high yield, and good selectivity and great application value. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) a closed boron nano noble metal catalyst prepared by the above method; and (2) use method of the nano noble metal catalyst for catalyzing methane to generate methanol and ethanol comprising adding layered substrate-boron cluster nano noble metal catalyst in aqueous solution or aqueous solution of methanol, where the methane is in liquid phase auxiliary oxidant hydrogen peroxide or gas phase oxidant oxygen and catalyzing to generate methanol and ethanol under the irradiation of ultraviolet light.
