NOVELTY - Amorphous composite material, comprises lead oxide/gallium oxide. USE - Amorphous composite material used in X-ray detector (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The amorphous PbO/Ga2O3 composite material has stable property, strong X-ray absorption ability, low dark current density and high photoelectric response. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Amorphous composite material, comprises lead oxide/gallium oxide of formula (PbO)x(Ga2O3)1-x, where x=0.6-0.8, preferably x=0.698, 0.747, 0.761 or 0.789. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: A method for preparing amorphous PbO/Ga2O3 composite material, which involves: taking PbO and Ga2O3, placing it at 1000-1200℃ and heating, until PbO and Ga2O3 are completely melted into a melt, preferably, keeping at 1050℃, more preferably for 15 minutes, mixing the melt and pouring on a metal plate, and cooling in the air to obtain an amorphous PbO/Ga2O3 composite material, preferably the metal plate is a nickel plate. An X-ray detector, includes a substrate, a bottom electrode, an amorphous (PbO)x(Ga2O3)1-x bulk and a top electrode arranged sequentially from bottom to top. The bottom electrode is deposited on the bottom surface of the amorphous (PbO)x(Ga2O3)1-x block. The top electrode is deposited on the upper surface of the amorphous (PbO)x(Ga2O3)1-x bulk. The amorphous (PbO)x(Ga2O3)1-x block is cut and polished by the amorphous PbO/GaO3 composite material after getting.
