NOVELTY - Device comprises graphene (400); and a metal electrode (403), where the metal electrode and the graphene are electrically connected while satisfying a specific relationship as given in the specification. The graphene consists of single atomic layer or multiple atomic layers. USE - As a device including an electronic device and an electronic or electro-optical integrated circuit (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The device reduces the contact resistance between graphene and a metal electrode. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for an electronic or electro-optical integrated circuit comprising graphene; and a metal electrode, where the metal electrode and the graphene are electrically connected while satisfying a specific relationship as given in the specification, the graphene is a material for at least one circuit component selected from channels of field effect transistors, interconnections, optical emitting devices and optical receiving devices.
