NOVELTY - Method for manufacturing silicon/carbon nanofiber (CNF)/graphene composite, involves (a) synthesizing a silicon/CNF mixture by mixing and dispersing a predetermined silicon nanopowder and CNF in ethanol and ultrasonically processing the mixture for a predetermined time, (b) synthesizing a silicon/CNF/graphene oxide (GO) dispersion by adding an aqueous GO solution to the silicon/CNF mixture prepared in step (a), and stirring the mixture for a predetermined time by ultrasonication, (c) performing vacuum filtration and drying on the silicon/CNF/GO dispersion to synthesize a silicon/CNF/GO composite, and (d) synthesizing a silicon/CNF/reduced GO composite through a heat treatment process. USE - The method is used for manufacturing silicon/carbon nanofiber/graphene composite for manufacturing secondary battery (claimed), preferably lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The method reduces interlayer deposition of graphene, shortens transport distance between electrons and lithium ions, and improves conductivity of the electrode material. The electrode has stable mechanical property, excellent rate performance and cycle stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for manufacturing a secondary battery, which involves (a) synthesizing a silicon/CNF mixture by mixing and dispersing a predetermined silicon nanopowder and CNF in ethanol and ultrasonically processing the mixture for a predetermined time, (b) synthesizing a silicon/CNF/GO dispersion by adding an aqueous GO solution to the silicon/CNF mixture prepared in step (a), and stirring the resulting mixture for a predetermined time by ultrasonication, (c) vacuum filtration and drying the silicon/CNF/GO dispersion to synthesize a silicon/CNF/GO composite, (d) synthesizing a silicon/CNF/reduced GO composite through a heat treatment process, and (e) using the silicon/CNF/reduced GO composite as an anode material to obtain the secondary battery.
