NOVELTY - Regulation of graphene-coated nano titanium dioxide morphology comprises e.g. (i) adding cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide into organic solvent, and stirring, (ii) adding concentration of carbon quantum dots into the mixed solution, and stirring, (iii) adding titanium source into bright yellow solution of step (ii), stirring, and carrying out solvothermal reaction, (iv) cooling the reaction to obtain yellow uniform solution, evaporating organic solvents, and then drying, and (v) calcining the yellow paste, then washing nd drying to obtain graphene-coated titania product. USE - The nanostructured titania morphology is useful in production of electrochemical energy storage device, or useful as catalyst, antibacterial agent, and sensor material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nanostructured titania morphology greatly improves electrical conductivity while increasing the titania specific capacity, has high energy density, good cycle stability, simple preparation process and low raw material cost, and is suitable for commercial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Regulation of graphene-coated nano titanium dioxide morphology comprises (i) adding cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide into organic solvent, stirring to dissolve uniformly and to obtain colorless transparent solution, (ii) adding concentration of carbon quantum dots into the mixed solution obtained in step (i), stirring to obtain uniform bright yellow solution, (iii) adding titanium source into bright yellow solution of step (ii), stirring to form brown purple uniform solution, transferring the solution into a reaction kettle, and carrying out solvothermal reaction, (iv) cooling the reaction to obtain yellow uniform solution, evaporating organic solvents, and then drying the product to obtain yellow paste material, and (v) calcining the yellow paste in protective atmosphere, then washing calcined product and drying to obtain graphene-coated titania product. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for graphene-coated nano titanium dioxide morphology is prepared by above mentioned method.
