NOVELTY - Polyurethane film comprises a polyurethane resin and 1-30 wt.% graphene. The graphene consists of graphene nanoplatelets. At least 90% has a lateral dimension (x, y) of 50-50000 nm and a thickness (z) of 0.34-50 nm, in which the lateral dimension is always greater than the thickness and the carbon to oxygen ratio is greater than or equal to 100:1. USE - The polyurethane film is useful in shaped articles (claimed) used in clothing sector, preferably clothing and sports equipment, footwear, workwear and wearable electronics, furnishing and industrial sector. ADVANTAGE - The polyurethane film: is economical; exhibits improved thermal conductivity, in order to provide and exploit a planar thermal circuit to dissipate heat and thus increases the level of comfort of the item of clothing in the case of film used in the clothing sector or the performance level of the device incorporating the film; exhibits improved and modulated electrical conductivity to achieve antistatic effect (surface resistivity of 1010 to 105 Ohm), heating and conducting effect (surface resistivity of 104 to 10) and provides increased absorption of infrared radiation to increase the insulating power of the film; and exhibits bacteriostatic properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the polyurethane film comprising graphene, comprising (a) preparing a composition comprising (a1) a polyurethane resin or its precursors (a2) 0.1-5 wt.% of antiblocking additive and (a3) 1-30 wt.% of graphene consisting of graphene nanoplatelets, (b) adjusting the viscosity of the composition of step (a) by adding a solvent until a viscosity is reached to 4000-15000 cPs, (c) applying the composition having the viscosity of step (b) to a flat support until a layer having a thickness of 10-100 mu m is formed, (d) heating the layer at an increasing temperature of 30-180 degrees C, where a polyurethane film is formed, and (e) detaching the film from the support.
