NOVELTY - The method for preparing graphene oxide involves adding graphite material, acid and oxidizer to a sealed reactor, injecting supercritical fluid into the mixture to supercritical state, and performing oxidation intercalation reaction to obtain reaction mixture system (I) at pressure of 8-25 MPa and temperature of 32-50 degrees C for 1-3 hours, controlling the temperature of the reaction mixture system (I) at lower than 70 degrees C, then adding deionized water, reducing the normal pressure of the sealed reactor, performing hydrolysis reaction at 70-90 degrees C for 0.5-1.5 hours to obtain reaction mixture system (II), adding hydrogen peroxide to the reaction mixture system (II) and reacting the mixture. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene oxide with high utilization efficiency.
