NOVELTY - Preparing nitrogen-doped composite carbon material for supercapacitor, comprises 1) adding graphene oxide to water and dispersing it with an ultrasonic dispersant; 2) adding pyrrole to the dispersed graphene oxide water mixture and stirring it; 3) adding an oxidant to the mixture of graphene oxide and pyrrole, and stirring the solution thoroughly; 4) collecting the reaction product by filtration; 5) mixing the collected product with potassium hydroxide aqueous solution; 6) placing the material in a high-temperature environment and protecting it with nitrogen gas; 7) preparing a dilute acid solution; 8) washing the carbonized material obtained with the acid solution and deionized water repeatedly to obtain activated carbon; and 9) baking and grinding the activated carbon obtained from step 8 to prepare it into electrode material. USE - Preparing nitrogen-doped composite carbon material for super capacitor used in energy storage device. Uses include e.g. battery, electric vehicle, hybrid electric vehicle and fuel cell. ADVANTAGE - The method provides nitrogen-doped composite carbon material for super capacitor, where the nitrogen element in the pyrrole is doped into the composite carbon, so as to improve the performance of the super capacitor.
