NOVELTY - A metal-free phthalocyanine-graphene oxide composite nonlinear optical thin-film material is made of phthalocyanine derivative and graphene oxide aqueous solution by an electrostatic self-assembly method. Phthalocyanine derivative is charged quadric- beta -(4-sulfonic acid phenoxy)phthalocyanine (I). USE - Metal-free phthalocyanine-graphene oxide composite nonlinear optical thin-film material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The metal-free phthalocyanine-graphene oxide composite nonlinear optical thin-film material has fine third-order nonlinear optical property and reverse saturation absorption property, and is prepared by simple process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A metal-free phthalocyanine-graphene oxide composite nonlinear optical thin-film material is made of phthalocyanine derivative and graphene oxide aqueous solution by an electrostatic self-assembly method. Phthalocyanine derivative is charged quadric- beta -(4-sulfonic acid phenoxy)phthalocyanine of formula (I). An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of metal-free phthalocyanine-graphene oxide composite nonlinear optical thin-film material, which involves immersing pretreated substrate in poly(diallyl dimethylammonium) chloride solution having concentration of 10% for 4-6 minutes, washing using distilled water, then immersing in polystyrene sulfonate solution having concentration of 10% for 4-6 minutes, washing using distilled water, repeating above processes three times, immersing processed substrate in poly(diallyl dimethylammonium) chloride solution having concentration of 10% for 4-6 minutes, washing using distilled water, then immersing in aqueous solution of compound (I) for 4-6 minutes, washing using distilled water, immersing in poly(diallyl dimethylammonium) chloride solution having concentration of 10% for 4-6 minutes, washing using distilled water, immersing in aqueous solution of graphene oxide for 4-6 minutes, washing using distilled water, and repeating above processes for several times.
