NOVELTY - Preparation of nitrogen-doped porous graphene aggregate comprises oxidizing layered graphite, oxidizing agent and acid solution to obtain expandable graphite and subjecting expandable graphite to high-temperature solid phase treatment greater than or equal to 500 degrees C in inert atmosphere in the presence of water vapor carrying nitrogen-containing compound molecule where nitrogen-containing compound is urea, ammonium carbonate or ammonium hydrogen carbonate. USE - Method for preparing nitrogen-doped porous graphene aggregate used as cathode material conductors or anode materials for lithium ion batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The product has high electronic conductivity and ion transmission efficiency.
