NOVELTY - Preparing graphene/polymer self-healing material comprises: (i) uniformly mixing polymerization monomer, initiator and solvent in a mass ratio of 100:0.01-10:0-1000, reacting at 50-120 degrees C for 1-10 hours, post-treating the product to obtain a furan functionalized polymer; (ii) adding graphene oxide and furanmethylamine (mass ratio of 100:10-500) into water, dispersing ultrasonically, reacting at 25-100 degrees C for 2-72 hours, washing the product repeatedly with water and drying to obtain furan functionalized graphene; and (iii) mixing the furan functionalized polymer, furan functionalized graphene and N,N'-(4,4'-methylenediphenyl)bismaleimide (mass ratio of 100:0.01-20:0.1-20), dispersing in N,N'-dimethylformamide to obtain a uniform dispersion, then removing the solvent via vacuum drying, spray drying, atmospheric drying or precipitating agent precipitation. USE - The graphene/polymer self-healing material is useful for crack repair (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) graphene/polymer self-healing material, comprising 100 pts. wt. polymerized monomer, 0.01-20 pts. wt. functionalized graphene and 0.1-20 pts. wt. crosslinker (diphenylmethane bismaleimide); and (2) use of graphene/polymer self-healing material in crack repair, comprising repairing the material at 50-250 degrees C for 0.1-10 hours.
