NOVELTY - A low-volatile organic compound sponge comprises 30 pts. wt. grafted polyether polyol, 60 pts. wt. high activity polyether polyol, 1 pt. wt. catalyst, 1 pt. wt. foam stabilizer, 1 pt. wt. chain extender, 3 pts. wt. foaming agent, 0.5 pt. wt. flame retardant, 0-0.6 pt. wt. reduced graphene oxide/titanium dioxide nanoparticles and 50 pts. wt. diphenylmethane diisocyanate. USE - Low-volatile organic compound sponge for automobile interior (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The sponge solves the problem of uneven hardness of existing semi-ether and ester polyurethane sponge. The preparation method is simple and can effectively reduce the volatile organic compound content in composite fabric and release of volatile organic compound during process to produce sponge with excellent embossing molding effect and appearance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the low-volatile organic compound sponge, which involves preparing reduced graphene oxide/titanium dioxide nanoparticles, adding grafted polyether polyol, high activity polyether polyol, catalyst, foam stabilizer, chain extender, foaming agent, flame retardant, reduced graphene oxide/titanium dioxide nanoparticles and water to reaction kettle, ultrasonically stirring for 30 minutes to obtain material (A), adding diphenylmethane diisocyanate to foaming machine with temperature of 60-80 degrees C, controlling temperature of diphenylmethane diisocyanate to 20-30 degrees C to obtain material (B), pouring material (B) to material (A), stirring at high speed for 10 seconds, pouring into foaming machine, vacuum defoaming, molding for 5 minutes, taking out product, curing for 72 hours to obtain sponge, preparing composite fabric by flame compounding sponge where middle layer of the composite fabric is sponge and upper and lower layers of the composite fabric are fabrics, embossing composite fabric with hot melt embossing machine at 170-230 degrees C under pressure of 20 kg/cm2 and speed of 1-5 m/minute, placing composite fabric in outdoor vehicle environment and solarizing for 3-30 days.
