NOVELTY - Preparing carboxymethyl chitosan/graphene oxide/poly (N-isopropyl acrylamide) nano-composite hydrogel involves adding chitosan into weak acid solution of graphene oxide and stirring uniformly at room temperature. The N-isopropyl acrylamide monomer and photoinitiator are added and stirred uniformly to obtain carboxymethyl chitosan/graphene oxide/N-isopropyl acrylamide dispersion. 1-(3-Dimethylaminopropyl) -3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride/N-hydroxysuccinimide is added to carboxymethyl chitosan/graphene oxide/N-isopropylacrylamide dispersion to obtain a mixed solution. USE - Method for preparing carboxymethyl chitosan/graphene oxide/poly (N-isopropyl acrylamide) nano-composite hydrogel. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare carboxymethyl chitosan/graphene oxide/poly (N-isopropyl acrylamide) nano-composite hydrogel that has good biocompatibility in drug release, molecular devices and potential applications. The nano composite hydrogel has double-response characteristic of pH/activity temperature. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing carboxymethyl chitosan/graphene oxide/poly (N-isopropyl acrylamide) nano-composite hydrogel involves adding chitosan into weak acid solution of graphene oxide and stirring uniformly at room temperature. The N-isopropyl acrylamide monomer and photoinitiator are added and stirred uniformly to obtain carboxymethyl chitosan/graphene oxide/N-isopropyl acrylamide dispersion. 1-(3-Dimethylaminopropyl) -3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride/N-hydroxysuccinimide is added to carboxymethyl chitosan/graphene oxide/N-isopropylacrylamide dispersion at room temperarure under stirring to obtain a mixed solution. The mixed solution is reacted under nitrogen atmosphere at room temperature to obtain chitosan/graphene oxide crosslinking solidified hydrogel. The carboxymethyl chitosan/graphene crosslinked cured hydrogel is placed in a water bath and irradiated ultraviolet light having wavelength of 365 nanometer to obtain carboxymethyl chitosan/graphene oxide/poly (N-isopropyl acrylamide) nano-composite hydrogel.
