NOVELTY - Method for the preparation of cubic-morphology graphene powder involves (a) calcining sodium chloride and cooling the calcined sodium chloride to obtain sodium chloride substrate, (b) heating the sodium chloride substrate, introducing a carbon source and carrying out chemical vapor deposition reaction to obtain graphene-sodium chloride composite powder, and (c) separating graphene from the graphene-sodium chloride composite powder to obtain the cubic-morphology graphene powder. USE - Method is useful for the preparation of cubic-morphology graphene powder, which is useful in an energy device for sewage treatment and bio-drug application (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method ensures simple, rapid, effective and economical preparation of cubic-morphology graphene powder, in an environmentally-friendly manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for cubic-morphology graphene powder prepared by the above method.
