NOVELTY - The preparation of graphene oxide doped mesoporous silicon film, involves (1) preparing nanocrystalline cellulose, (2) ultrasonically dispersing nanocrystalline cellulose, adding solution of glucose and graphene oxide, mixing thoroughly, dripping diethylphosphorylethyltriethoxysilane and tetraethyl silicate, respectively, stirring, pouring into Teflon (RTM: PTFE) tray and drying to obtain mesoporous silicon film (A), (3) placing mesoporous silicon film (A) in sulfuric acid solution to remove template molecule nanocrystalline cellulose to obtain mesoporous silicon film (B), (4) reacting mesoporous silicon film (B) in concentrated hydrochloric acid to obtain mesoporous silicon film (C), (5) alternately washing mesoporous silicon film (C) with distilled water and absolute ethanol and drying. USE - Preparation of graphene oxide doped mesoporous silicon film for selectively adsorbing rare earth elements (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene oxide doped mesoporous silicon film ensuring excellent adsorption performance by simple, easy and environmentally-friendly process.
