NOVELTY - A process for graphene-coated needle coke powder, comprising the following steps: (1) heating 8-12μm needle coke powder in a mixing pot, with temperature controlled at 120-130℃, and continuously stirring to ensure uniform heating of the needle coke powder; (2) controlling the heating temperature in segments, spraying 0.5-1 g/l graphene aqueous solution onto the needle coke powder in multiple batches, while continuously stirring; (3) after dehydration is completed, cooling to room temperature to obtain graphene-coated needle coke powder, which is bagged and sealed for storage. USE - The method is useful for coating needle-shaped coke graphene, which is useful in lithium ion battery industry. The graphene is useful as electrode material for energy storage of negative electrode material is one of four key material lithium the ion battery.
