NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene aerogel by activated sludge involves mixing crystalline flake graphite with potassium permanganate, adding mixed acid solution of sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, exothermically reacting in water bath, cooling to room temperature, pouring in ice water containing hydrogen peroxide, orderly washing with hydrochloric acid, ethanol and deionized water, solidifying, washing by deionized water, ultrasonically processing, collecting activated sludge from sewage treatment plant, entering into sequencing batch reactor, continuously aerating, settling, mixing and oscillating. USE - Method for preparing graphene aerogel by activated sludge (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The aerogel has loose porous three-dimensional structure, simple operation, mild the reaction condition, easy-to-obtain raw materials, no chemical crosslinking agent and low cost, and is suitable for large-scale production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene aerogel by activated sludge comprises: (A) mixing crystalline flake graphite with potassium permanganate, adding mixed acid solution of sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, exothermically reacting at 35-40 degrees C in water bath, cooling to room temperature, pouring in ice water containing hydrogen peroxide solution from green brown to golden yellow, orderly washing with hydrochloric acid, ethanol and deionized water, solidifying, washing by deionized water until pH is neutral and ultrasonically processing to form oxidized graphene suspension; (B) collecting activated sludge from sewage treatment plant, entering into sequencing batch reactor, continuously aerating for 1-2 days, settling to remove supernatant, refilling and continuously aerating for 7-30 days to mixed liquor suspended solids stabilized at 2-7 g/L, pH to 7-8 and color to yellow to obtain activated sludge suspension; and (C) adding oxidized graphene suspension and activated sludge suspension into serum bottle, oscillating, uniformly mixing, sealing, standing, taking out product and washing.
