NOVELTY - A lead paste comprises 75-85 wt.% lead powder, 8-10 wt.% water, 8-12 wt.% dilute sulfuric acid, 0.1-0.5 wt.% sodium lignosulfonate, 0.05-0.3 wt.% staple fiber, 0.1-2 wt.% barium sulfate, 0.2-0.6 wt.% carbon black and 0.05-0.3 wt.% graphene. USE - Lead paste for negative electrode of a lead-acid battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The lead paste prepared by mixing low resistance and highly conductive graphene and carbon black with an additive such as lead powder, can form negative electrode plate into an electrical network having excellent electrical conductivity and improve power receiving capacity, to shorten the charging time and improve battery life.
