NOVELTY - A metal acrylate composition comprises metal acrylate (I), and a heat-conducting powder. The heat-conducting powder is graphene and/or crystalline flake graphite. The content of the heat-conducting powder is 0.3-25 wt.% based on total weight of the metal acrylate composition. USE - Metal acrylate composition used in resin composition for preparing polyolefin elastomer and foamed elastomer for building materials, vehicle materials, cushioning materials, shockproof materials, packaging materials, sports pad materials and shoe materials (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The metal acrylate composition has high dispersibility and excellent stablility, and is capable of improving mechanical strength of finished product. The finished product has excellent foaming uniformity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A metal acrylate composition comprises metal acrylate of formula (I), and a heat-conducting powder. The heat-conducting powder is graphene and/or crystalline flake graphite. The content of the heat-conducting powder is 0.3-25 wt.% based on total weight of the metal acrylate composition. M2+=zinc ion, magnesium ion or calcium ion; and R1=H or 1-6C saturated alkyl. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of the metal acrylate composition, which involves: (a) reacting an acrylic acid, a divalent metal oxide and heat-conducting powder in a non-polar solvent at 30-100degrees Celsius to obtain a first mixture; and (b) removing the solvent in the first mixture; and (2) a resin composition, which comprises an unsaturated aliphatic polyolefin and the metal acrylate composition.
